Jellyfish Appoints Adam Ferrari as SVP of Engineering

Veteran engineering executive and startup advisor brings decades of experience scaling software companies including Endeca and Salsify

BOSTON, May 14, 2026 — Jellyfish, the leading Software Engineering Intelligence and AI Impact Platform, announced the appointment of Adam Ferrari as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Drawing on a deep set of experiences leading world-class engineering teams, Ferrari will define Jellyfish’s technology strategy and help customers navigate the evolving complexities of engineering productivity in the AI era as organizations seek to maximize their investments and drive measurable impact.

Ferrari brings more than two decades of experience leading engineering teams and architecting platforms spanning distributed systems, developer infrastructure, search, data platforms, and enterprise SaaS. Ferrari helped scale Salsify to more than $150 million in ARR and a multi-product portfolio between 2015 and 2023, and led Endeca’s technology strategy as CTO before its $1 billion acquisition by Oracle. Most recently, he served as a fractional CTO and advisor to SaaS companies, including Jellyfish.

“Adam brings a perfect combination of deep technical expertise, operational leadership, and passion for engineering excellence,” said Andrew Lau, CEO and co-founder of Jellyfish. “He has spent his career helping organizations scale thoughtfully while staying closely connected to the craft of building software. As AI continues to reshape software development, Adam’s perspective will be key to helping Jellyfish continue innovating.”

“Engineering is entering one of the most transformative moments in the history of software,” said Adam Ferrari, SVP of engineering at Jellyfish. “Organizations are moving quickly to adopt AI, but they also need visibility into how these technologies are impacting productivity, delivery, and business outcomes. Jellyfish is perfectly positioned to provide that clarity, and I’m excited to help scale during such an important moment for the industry.”

Ferrari’s appointment is more timely than ever as enterprises need data to track AI adoption progress, evolve with innovations, and continue to deliver impact. The incentive to use AI coding tools is clear: over the last three months, companies in the top quartile of AI adoption have seen 2x the PR throughput of low adopters. Jellyfish AI Impact quantifies the value of AI-powered developer tools, enabling engineering leaders to measure their AI ROI, optimize their tooling investments, and build AI-enabled teams.

Jellyfish helped found the Massachusetts AI Coalition. Ferrari is also a member of the VPE Forum, a community for Engineering VPs and CTOs at technology companies in Boston.
