Jellyfish Releases Integration to Measure AI Impact for Amazon Q Developer

Today I am excited to share that Jellyfish AI Impact now includes an integration with Amazon Q Developer, a market-leading AI-powered assistant that accelerates software development. Jellyfish customers can measure how Amazon Q Developer changes the way work gets done in R&D organizations and how that work is measured.

Amazon Q Developer helps reduce toil in development teams enabling them to code faster, improve the reliability & security of their code and build with autonomous agents. With this integration Jellyfish can now surface how Amazon Q Developer is accelerating their tasks.

Jellyfish is excited to provide the telemetry these organizations need to measure the impact of their AI investments and usher in a new era in engineering. Leveraging an Amazon Leadership Principle, the Jellyfish AI Impact Dashboard for Amazon Q Developer unlocks a “Bias For Action” for our joint customers and surfaces which teams are getting the biggest lift from using Amazon Q Developer in their SDLC habits.

Today’s announcement gives Amazon and Jellyfish joint customers the ability to:

• Measure Amazon Q Developer’s impact on developer productivity with agents: Analyze how Amazon Q Developers agents impact different engineering workflows and use cases – whether it’s building new features, reducing technical debt at scale, or reviewing for code quality and security improvements.
• Scale Amazon Q adoption across your organization: Identify teams with high engagement across Amazon Q Developer’s capabilities for creative problem solving, accelerated development, automated testing, and streamlined deployment, then replicate those best practices and implementation strategies company-wide.

This integration further builds on Jellyfish’s long-standing relationship with AWS, where the Jellyfish platform has been exclusively hosted since our founding in 2017. Jellyfish also joined the AWS ISV program in 2023 to better support our joint customers and, in November 2024, we integrated Amazon Q for Business with Jellyfish’s then newly-released API. This integration allows us to synthesize outputs from the Jellyfish API to give customers on-demand insights that can be requested in various workflows outside of our platform.
